Papa Jack Toys is a family hobby and a favorite pastime for this retired medical executive and my wife. I made some toys several years ago but looked forward to the time when I could devote as much time as I wanted to making fun toys for children. That time presented itself when I retired in 2009. Since I make each toy by hand, each toy is not always the same as another and the woods will vary giving each toy its own character.

Papa Jack Toys are made mostly from white pine, popular, basswood, cottonwood, and some western redwood. Each toy is priced to be affordable for everyone. Special care is taken to extensive sanding of each toy for a smooth finish. My wife, Margaret coats our toys with a safe non-toxic toy oil to enhance the grains of the wood and preserve the wood. Should you want to paint our toys, they may be ordered un-oiled for future painting, upon request. .

Making kids, big or small happy - that has been our key message since I first started making toys. It is the joy and excitement on the faces of children that keeps us going today. We do participate in some local craft shows. We do donate toys to individual children, some charities and occasionally send toys to Mexico with Physician Missionaries. We are always searching for the coolest toys for young and old alike to offer them to you, our customers.
